  2. SYMPTOMS. Signs are dependent of the area of the brain that is affected and
  3. may include defective vision, confusion, coma, headache, paralysis on one
  4. side of the body, confusion or defective speech.
  5. CAUSES involve destruction of an area of the brain tissue and may be due to
  6. the rupture of a vessel and bleeding within the cranium, blockage by a clot
  7. or spasm or contraction of a vessel. High blood pressure is a major factor.
  8. TREATMENT. Seek medical help immediately. Immediate treatment is essential.
  9. .Physiotherapy and speech therapy may be required.
